JERICO international disaster management cooperation project opening event

We were delighted to host the official opening event of the international disaster management cooperation project called JERICO. The program is implemented with the support of the Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary–Serbia Program and strengthens the security, preparedness, and cooperation of the border region.
The aim of the project is for the professional communities of the two countries to jointly respond to the challenges of climate change, particularly in the following areas:
🔥 increasing the rapid response capability of volunteer fire brigades
🏗 developing disaster management infrastructure and cooperation tools
ℹ️ informing the public and raising awareness for more effective protection of life and property
