Bartók's legacy through the eyes of young artists

The second day of the Bartók All Arts Festival began with an exhibition opening at the Patkó Equestrian and Open-Air Theatre.

The large-scale, mixed-media artworks presented were created during the art workshops of recent months. Young people aged 10–14 from Domaszék, Öttömös, Ruzsa, Röszke, and Ásotthalom drew inspiration from the musical work of Béla Bartók, expressing their own thoughts, experiences, colors, and forms on canvas.

The workshops were led by visual artist Ágota Kincses, who guided the children through the creative process with exciting tasks and technical foundations.

The works exhibited will later be included in the Bartók Digital Collection and will also adorn prominent public spaces in the participating settlements, perpetuating the spirit of Béla Bartók and the creativity of the young artists.
