Jerico Children's Camp<\/strong>, these would be them. We can look back on a truly fulfilling week full of experiences, where the children returned home enriched not only with unforgettable memories but also with life-saving and useful knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let's see day by day what all fit into this super week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 1 (Monday): Introduction to the firefighter's life and the secrets of emergency calls \ud83d\udea8<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We started the camp right from the basics: thanks to the Traditional Guard Association of Szentes Firefighters, Major Ferenc Kov\u00e1cs and his team guided the children into the world of the firefighting profession. The youngsters gained insight into the daily routine of firefighters, the conditions for recruitment, and even learned about the national operation of disaster management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After getting to know barracks life and having a warm lunch at the school canteen, we headed towards Cacao Club, where rotating stations awaited the participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Smart Plate Station:<\/strong> They learned about healthy eating in a playful way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Movement Station:<\/strong> Relay races and team games forged the team into one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Making Banana Ice Cream:<\/strong> The joint preparation (and consumption!) of the refreshing, healthy fruit dessert was a huge success.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Board Game Corner:<\/strong> Logic and cooperative games developed strategic thinking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 2 (Tuesday): Climate change, Buffalo Reserve, and a fairytale screening \ud83e\uddac\ud83c\udf31<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Tuesday morning, the Kistelek Civil Guard and Volunteer Firefighter Association took over the professional baton. Accompanied by President P\u00e9ter K\u00e1csor, we boarded the famous <strong>Buba bus<\/strong>, and visited the <strong>M\u00f3rahalom Buffalo Reserve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">. In the lap of nature, under expert guidance, we discussed the local effects of climate change, water scarcity, the risks of outdoor fires, and the importance of environmental protection. After the educational outdoor program and lunch, we watched disaster management and environmental fairy tales at Cacao Club, followed by an interactive discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 3 (Wednesday): Fire trucks up close and a splash in the pool! \ud83d\ude92\ud83d\udca6<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Wednesday, the host <strong>M\u00f3rahalom Volunteer Firefighter Association<\/strong> (led by President Norbert Kiss) presented modern firefighting vehicles and rescue equipment. The children could hold the equipment and experience firsthand the difficult and responsible work that active firefighters do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the morning's physical and mental work, the afternoon was for well-deserved rest: the group walked over to the <strong>Szent Erzs\u00e9bet M\u00f3rahalom Thermal Bath<\/strong>, where we cooled off in the summer heat with swimming, games, and water competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Day 4 (Thursday): Life-saving, first aid, and creative energies \ud83e\ude7a\ud83c\udfa8<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thursday was dedicated to one of the most important professional topics: with the help of experts Zsolt T\u00f3th (Ruzsai \u00d6TE) and Szilveszter P\u00e1link\u00f3, the children learned how to handle emergencies professionally and calmly, and the <strong>basic first aid techniques<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In the afternoon, in the cool of the Kolo Serbian Cultural Center, creativity took center stage: we ended the day with beadwork, making unique bracelets and lucky charms, so everyone could take home a lasting personal souvenir.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Day 5 (Friday): Jerico Firefighter Challenge and ceremonial certificate award \ud83c\udfc6\ud83d\udcdc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Friday, it was time for the grand summary. With the help of the Ruzsai Volunteer Firefighter Association (President Tibor Farkas and Zolt\u00e1n B\u00f3ka), we reviewed what we had learned during the week and watched the JERICO project's educational videos together. <strong>As the highlight of the week, the children successfully completed the<\/strong>, Jerico Firefighter Challenge <strong>, and received their official<\/strong>, JERICO certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">, which prove that they have become true little firefighters and young people aware of emergencies!
